Miami Childrens Hospitals (MCH) Board of Directors has announced new officers and board members for the 2008-2010 term.
New board members include:
Chairman – Juan Carlos Mas, chairman of Neff Corporation. Mas previously served as chairman of the MCH board from 2000 to 2003 and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Miami Childrens Hospital Foundation
Vice Chairman – Donna Huck, a consultant with Hertner Block and Associates. Huck, who served as chairman of the MCH board in 1991, is also a founding member of the Miami Childrens Hospital Foundations Community Council.
Secretary – Ghislain Gouraige, Jr., senior vice president – investments for UBS Financial Services, Inc. He has served on the MCH board since 2002 and was reelected as secretary for the current board term.
New board members include Peter Bermont, managing director of The Bermont Advisory Group; Luis Gonzalez-Mendoza, M.D., pediatric endocrinologist on staff at Miami Childrens Hospital; Deise Granado-Villar, M.D., chief of the Department of Pediatric Medicine and medical director of Miami Childrens Division of Preventive Medicine and Community Pediatrics; Mario Murgado, president and chief executive officer of Brickell Motors; and Keith T. Ward, founder and president of Quality Management North America, Inc.
